Throw down the plywood and let April and her boys do the rest. Canada’s Ottawa Valley meets Old-Time Appalachia: crack fiddling, electric step dancing, sweet singing.

April Verch blends the traditions of roots music and step-dancing with her own artistic voice and vision in a high-energy show that puts her award-winning fiddling and songwriting talents out front.

With her trio, she has performed around the world, including festival and theatre appearances in Canada, USA, China, Australia, United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates.

The April Verch Band—rounded out by bassist and clawhammer banjo player Cody Walters and guitarist Hayes Griffin—is an energetic, virtuosic, tradition-celebrating outfit that is long remembered once they depart the stage.  Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the thrilling grand finale involves April Verch fiddling and step dancing—often executing two entirely different intricate rhythmic patterns—at once!
