April Verch is a fiddle player and step dancer from Canada's Ottawa Valley. She’s been touring and performing on the road for more than 10 years, and she’s playing Friday, April 8, 2016, 7:30 p.m. at the Celtic Junction in St. Paul. KFAI's Paul Brohaugh spoke with her recently by telephone, a conversation you can hear after a bit of music off her album "The Newpart."
